Venting Gas Stoves

Direct Venting: Direct venting is a sealed combustion system were all combustion air is received from the exterior of the building and all flue gases are returned to the outoors.

Chimney Venting: Chimney (also called natural or B-Vent) venting is a metal or masonary flue passage system (usually your chimney) through which flue gases are vented to the outdoors.

Gas Stoves - 19th. Century Charm, 21st. Century Ease

The popularity of gas stoves is growing by leaps and bounds, and for very good reasons.
Gas stoves, the gas equivalent of wood-burning stoves, offer the best of both possible worlds -- the homey charm of the wood-burner and the cleanliness of propane.
All fireplaces come with burners designed for either propane gas (LP) or natural gas and can be configured for either chimney or direct venting. These free-standing units are adaptable to practically all home interiors, because they can be located on either flat walls or in corners.
