Venting Propane Fireplaces

Direct Venting: Direct venting is a sealed combustion system were all combustion air is received from the exterior of the building and all flue gases are returned to the outoors.

Chimney Venting: Chimney (also called natural or B-Vent) venting is a metal or masonary flue passage system (usually your chimney) through which flue gases are vented to the outdoors.

Please be mindful that our estimates of fireplace size for room coverage is at best approximations. Several conditions enter into coverage capacity, not the least of which is building insulation.
Also, an important safety factor of fireplace size is proper room clearances for the fireplace of your choice. You must be sure to check the specific fireplace specifications to make sure the area where you want the fireplace is large enough to maintain the required clearances. Stevens Energy will be glad to come to your home and help with this evaluation.
